Signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Palestinian Federation of Industries and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics

Ramallah – An official memorandum of cooperation was signed today between the Palestinian General Federation of Industries and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, with the aim of strengthening partnership in the field of data exchange and supporting decision-making based on accurate information.The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Federation by its Chairman, Mr. Nassar Nassar, and on behalf of the Bureau by its President, Dr. Ola Awad.The memorandum aims to develop joint cooperation channels in the field of economic statistics and enable the industrial sector to access up-to-date databases that assist in planning, policy development and improving industrial performance efficiency. The memorandum also includes cooperation in conducting studies and statistical surveys related to the industrial sector, and organising training and research workshops that serve both parties.During the signing, both parties emphasised the importance of this partnership in supporting the national economy and promoting industrial development, considering that accurate data and statistics are a fundamental pillar for strategic decision-making.
