Project to assess and evaluate damage to the industrial sector

Based on its commitment to supporting the resilience of the Palestinian industrial sector and promoting economic recovery efforts, the General Federation of Palestinian Industries, in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Industry and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), announces the launch of a national project to assess and evaluate damage to the industrial sector in the Gaza Strip. This project aims to collect accurate and comprehensive data on the extent and type of damage caused to industrial facilities in various specialised sectors as a result of the recent aggression, including small, medium and large facilities, whether the damage was total or partial. This comes within the framework of building a reliable database that contributes to guiding response plans, determining intervention priorities, and supporting reconstruction and industrial recovery efforts. The project invites all owners of damaged industrial facilities in the Gaza Strip governorates to participate by filling out the designated electronic form, ensuring an accurate representation of the reality of the industrial sector and its actual needs, and helping local and international partners design support programmes based on realistic and reliable data.

To ensure data accuracy and the integrity of the inventory and assessment procedures, we recommend that all industrial facility owners watch the introductory video explaining the guidelines and steps for filling out the industrial sector damage inventory and assessment project questionnaire before starting to fill out the online form. The video provides a simplified explanation of how to enter the required information and avoid common mistakes. To view the introductory video, click here.
